A Tennessee Republican's failed attempt to play Race Politics

If the Catholic Church can excommunicate someone, why can't a political party?

I have been laughing since I read this. It is ridiculous, but hilarious, because the person who wrote it is absolutely serious? His platform is his fear that the U.S. will become a giant Detroit. To stop this he wants to protect the good genes that produce intelligent children and stop the stupid genes. First political platform to quote Darwin. Sort of a cross between a James Bond supervillian and a Saturday Night Live sketch gone horribly wrong. By the way, I found this at: www.dailykos.com

Here's a section from his Political Platform section:

Because genes have a more devastating effect on civilization than nuclear bombs, and the reason for Detroit's decline is that there are less 'favored races' in Detroit with an average IQ of 85 and more 'favored races' in Japan with an average IQ of 104. (It is noted there are less 'favored races'* in Africa south of the Sahara with an average IQ of 70-75, which accounts for the extreme poverty there.)

I think we found a challenger for Obama in Illinois... Or better yet, the head of the new oppostion party to oust Robert Mugabe...

He should follow the new style of referring to any group. It's not "less favored races", but "races of lesser favor." That way he sounds edjumakated and culturally sensitive.

Yes, an excommunication from the GOP is definitely in order.

Can we revoke his citizenship as a Tennessean and an American too?
