Good article describing Zarqawi's path to the present in Iraq and differences between his group and al-Qaeda. I think the NYT had a similar article over the summer. I might be able to find it and post a link, if anyone is interested. In that article, Zarqawi comes across as a thug with only marginal religiosity -- but one helluva hatred against Israel.
