I hope that Tsvangirai is just playing nice for the cameras because Mugabe is one guy with whom I wouldn't play nice. Beatings, public intimidation, the destruction of the economy, his open racism, the virtual elimination of all political opposition to the ZANU-PF -- each one is enough reason to oppose being nice to Mugabe.
National reconciliation means having a responsible government, not Afirca's version of Stalin. Keep fighting, Tsvangirai. Mugabe is old.
