Early News Summary

Palestinian Led Sinai Blasts, Egypt Says

Conveniently, for Egypt, I might add. Blaming a disgruntled Palestinian still doesn't account for the simultaneous blasts and the logistical support that are al-Qaeda trademarks. I'm curious to know what other evidence turns up.

Oh, and did anyone see that public health officials say that most people can skip the flu shot. That's been this New Republican's point for sometime now. Short of the very ill or those with weak immune systems, this flu shot shortage is not a big deal. It's almost embarrassing to see the Presidential race revolving around stupidity like this.

On the weapons that were lost in Iraq, CNN is reporting that NBC's embedded crew saw that the weapons were gone by the time US forces found the weapons' bunker.

Do you remember the plane that went down in Queens a few months after 9/11? CNN ran a report today on Headline News that a captured al-Qaeda operative said that a shoe-bomber was aboard the plane (shoe fetishists?). I can't find the link and I'm running late. Send it if you find it.
