The dioxin used on Yushchenko was so toxic that no one planning the poisoning could have considered that he would live.
Initial tests had shown the level of poison in Mr Yushchenko's blood was more than 6,000 times higher than normal - the second highest level ever recorded in humans.
I don't know if he is a good Presidential candidate, but he is one tough man.
